Elspeth Liermann is an avid reader and loves photography. She is finishing up her transfer degree to Western Oregon University where she will be majoring in education. She plans to be an elementary school teacher. Along with photography, Elspeth also loves to scrapbook, and she enjoys traveling whenever possible. 

Sherri Souders is married with grown children, and lives in NE Portland. She works full-time in the marine transportation industry and is currently attending Chemeketa Community College, striving for a business degree. Poetry is a relatively new hobby that she enjoys immensely.

I am currently attending Chemeketa as a 26-year-old female, majoring in Psychology while pursuing a minor in Business Management. I am on my last leg at Chemeketa and plan to move on to Portland State University to continue my education. I am blessed with a beautiful daughter who is now 6 months old and she definitely keeps me on my toes. I have found my outlet for when times become rough and, as you can guess, it is writing. I have many composition books full of completed pieces of work and some that were just random thoughts to become finished at a later date. The only thing I have to say to those who read this is, never give up on your talents!

My name is Frederick E. Dolgin and I am a transfer student starting Portland State University this fall. My major is Political Science and History. I am originally from Fair Lawn, New Jersey, which is 10 miles outside of New York City. I've been writing poetry since my freshman year in high school. A few of my contemporary influences are Robert Shaw, Ilya Kaminsky, Phillip Levine, Katia Kapovich, Alexei Tsvetkov, Kay Ryan, and Billy Collins.
